The origin of TEAMOND
Even as a child, I was influenced by the impressive scents and colors of the teas and herbs in my uncle's pharmacy. My studies in botany increased my interest in plants and their diverse and effective ingredients. And my later scientific work as a qualified biologist at the Federal Research Institute for Nutrition and Food (now the Max Rubner Institute) gave me the opportunity to work in the food sector.
The enjoyment of tea and herbs has always accompanied me on this path. On trips to Asia and other tea countries, I got to know impressive tea cultures and different tea qualities. I was repeatedly shown the inexhaustible wealth of flavor nuances of the tea drink. This motivated me to one day focus solely on tea and herbs and ultimately sell tea.
Personally, I prefer to drink a fine green tea in the morning, a stronger Ceylon tea in the afternoon and, depending on the time of day, a fine Darjeeling, herbal or fruit tea in the evening.

Quality
Since we love tea and herbs ourselves, we only put high-quality plant products from organic farming in our bags. We do not offer anything that we are not convinced of ourselves. You can argue about taste, but not about quality.

We are taking the path of sustainability. It's not easy and sometimes bridging solutions are required. Because sustainable food and the necessary protective packaging do not always go together. However, we remain vigilant for new solutions and try to implement the most sustainable solutions in terms of food quality.

Anyone who acts bears responsibility. Action leads to change in societies, locally and globally. We therefore act carefully and prudently with a conscious responsibility for its consequences in global and local societies. Social commitment is part of it for us.
